Product Overview
The BLS63 40mm Tear-Gas Grenade is a non-lethal ammunition designed for law enforcement and riot control operations. It is fired by a single police officer (or soldier) using a nine-barrel launcher.
It is primarily used to disperse rioters and protesters at a safe distance.
When the ammunition is used, it releases a large amount of CS (2-chlorobenzalmalononitrile) irritating aerosol smoke through controlled burning. This causes:
- Excessive tearing (crying)
- Breathing difficulties
- Skin burning sensation
This achieves the effect of dispersing the crowd without causing permanent harm.
