Product Overview

The Type BLS62 63mm CS Smoke Grenade is a hand-delivered anti-riot device designed for law enforcement and riot control operations. It is the main type of hand-delivered bomb in our catalog.

Deployment Methods:

  • Hand-delivered (thrown by officer)
  • Launcher-fired with 38mm anti-riot gun + 63mm special ejector

It is primarily used to disperse rioters and protesters at a safe distance.

When the ammunition is used, it releases a large amount of CS (2-chlorobenzalmalononitrile) irritating aerosol smoke through controlled burning. This causes:

  • Excessive tearing (crying)
  • Breathing difficulties
  • Skin burning sensation

This achieves the effect of dispersing the crowd effectively.
